Bob is a 7th generation Mississippian who received his BBA degree in Finance from the University of Mississippi. He received his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law. He has been practicing law for more than 30 years. He is admitted to practice in both Mississippi and Texas. He is admitted in all Mississippi state courts, the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi as well as the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. He is the former District Attorney for the 294th Judicial District in Texas. He is admitted in the state courts of Texas as well as the Federal court for the Eastern District of Texas.

The firm's bankruptcy practice addresses a wide range of financial and legal issues, including mortgage foreclosures, credit cards debt, loan defaults, federal income tax debt, condominium liens, divorce liabilities, real estate taxes, loan guaranties, and business debt.

A substantial portion of the practice is dedicated to providing bankruptcy relief to clients caught in the real estate crisis, including addressing mortgage foreclosures. Many clients are able avoid a junior mortgage if the value of the real estate has fallen. Some clients are able to obtain a modification of their mortgages while under the protection of the bankruptcy case.
